EBI continues to train young, emerging Christian leaders in Myanmar.
Eastern Bible Institute
Training men and women to reach the lost in Myanmar.
Eastern Bible Institute (EBI) continues to train men and women for Christian leadership, service and ministry. With land purchased in 1993 and construction started in 1994, EBI has enrolled students from all over Myanmar from many different tribal groups. Though the common language is Burmese, instructors also come from different tribal groups. Churches, schools and individuals have contributed finances, books and other resources to make EBI a very effective Bible center in Myanmar. Former dean and former EBI President James Khong continues to take steps to insure EBI remains a strong Bible-centered graduate school. He currently is a professor at EBI teaching one class a semester. He also pastors Tamwe Christian Center and steers the vision and strategy of Myanmar Vision Ministries.
